The Innovation Conference 2024 was held in Futian District from Friday to Sunday, with some 600 scholars and researchers across diverse fields sharing their insights on creating a versatile exchange platform tailored to address the demands of both R&D professionals and the commercialization of scientific and technological breakthroughs.

About 25 financial institutions of various types were established in Futian District in the first half of this year, bringing in a total investment of 27 billion yuan (US$3.72 billion), official statistics released yesterday showed.

High-Tech firms in six sectors can seek an annual rent subsidy of up to 10 million yuan (US$1.38 million) if they relocate their main business operations to Futian District.
