ShenZhen (NanShan) Concord College of Sino-Canada is a new-type Sino-foreign cooperative college with advanced and distinguished teaching concept and advantages. In Feb. 2001, representatives from NanShan office of ShenZhen, New Brunswick office and AKD international inc.of Canada signed an agreement in Beijing for establishing a joint cooperative school in NanShan district.

On Sep.1st, 2001,the school was officially open. It is not only an extension and development of Beijing Concord College of Sino-Canada, but also the first joint cooperative boarding school to implement the general high school education.

Guided by its predecessor, the school has established a bilingual teaching system endowed with both countries’ distinct traditions to foster student with well-rounded quality and international vision. At present, with care and assist from both side governments, it has thrived to become a completed senior high school in terms of excellent teaching resources, faculties and high quality students.

With a twelve-year history, the school has strove to implement the idea of ‘Education should be oriented by the modernization, the world, and the future’ put forward by the board of directors, and vigorously blended essence from occidental and oriental education, achieving outstanding performance with distinct curricular style in the process of building the first level school within district, city and province and a branded school in China. Here, what would be enhanced is students’ knowledge, innovation, mindset to solve problems, esprit de corps and the orderly life experience etc., which meets nowadays’ new criterion of being an international elite and satisfies the requirement of directly integrating education at home and abroad.
