Guanlan Printmaking Village, where tradition meets change

Historic site of 1900 Huizhou Uprising

Located in Maluan Village in Maluan Community, the historic site of the 1900 Huizhou Uprising covers an area of 1,144 square meters, consisting of the Luo Family's Estate and Qianghua School.

Fengtian Ancestral Residence

Located next to Fengtian village, Fengtian Ancestral Residence housed generations of the Huang family, who lived there since the reign of Emperor Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty.

Dawan Ancestral Residence

Located southwest of the Huanping community, Dawan Ancestral Residence is one of the biggest Hakka buildings in China. It was built by the Zeng family in 1791, when Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty was on the throne.

Zhongying Street: one street, two systems

Eight boundary stones demarcate the 4-meter-wide street in Shatoujiao Subdistrict in the middle, telling the history of "one street, two systems." Before Hong Kong was returned to the motherland in 1997, the east of the street was Chinese territory while the west side was under the jurisdiction of Britain, giving the street its name, which literally means "Sino-British Street."
