Four years ago, 17-year-old Russian piano prodigy Alexander Malofeev impressed the local audience with his interpretation of Rachmaninoff’s “Piano Concerto No. 3 in D Minor” alongside the Lucerne Festival Orchestra under the baton of Riccardo Chailly.
