The 3D "The Three-Body Problem" stage play will be performed in town from August 18 to 20.

The Three-Body Problem is a science fiction novel by the Chinese writer Liu Cixin. It won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Novel and was nominated for the 2014 Nebula Award for Best Novel. The work was serialized in Science Fiction World in 2006, published as a book in 2008 and became one of the most popular science fiction novels in China.

In the backdrop of China's Cultural Revolution, a secret military project sends signals into space to establish contact with aliens. An alien civilization on the brink of destruction captures the signal and plans to invade Earth. Meanwhile, on Earth, different camps start forming, planning to either welcome the superior beings and help them take over a world seen as corrupt, or to fight against the invasion.
