Mexcian restaurant Pancho's has recently prepared a series of new dishes and invited some foodies to taste and give feedback to the new dishes. Check out what they have said!
New Mexican dishes
The Aztec salad is a delicious mixture of greens, the specialty Aztec dressing, grilled chicken and an exquisite sprinkling of fried corn tortilla strips with cream.
The Mayan salad is a mixture of three kinds of peppers combined with delicious strips of beef, sesame oil, soy sauce, magi juice and Pancho’s secret sauce.
Pancho’s preferred salad is a combination of fresh cucumber slices mixed with oriental and spicy sauces, sesame, and Pancho’s delicious pastor pork meat.
Los bigotes de Pancho’s is a mixture of lettuce, potatoes and tomatoes, blended with Pancho’s special vinaigrette and topped with either shredded tuna or chicken breast.
Tulum fish is Tilapia fish sauteed with Pancho’s exquisite cilantro sauce and white wine accompanied with carrots, broccoli and calabash.
Pancho villa's pizza is a crusty thin pizza with Pancho’s special tomato sauce, green peppers and special pastor pork meat.
El flan de Pancho’s is an exquisite dessert, typical of Mexico.

1. Here in Pancho's you will experience local Mexican life. When you enter this amazing restaurant, you will see all the fantastic Mexican decorations. You can see the photos of Frida Calo on the wall and bar fully-stocked with tequila. But, the number one takeaway from this restaurant is its delicious food. The chefs are Mexican, so what else can be said about the food The salads with avocado and chicken, wonderful tasty salsa and delectable flan, the food is simply irresistible.
The owners are very kind and friendly. They treat guests like family. This place is not only a restaurant and bar, but also a place that makes you feel right at home.

2. This is the second time that I have been to Pancho’s. This time I came as a taste-tester for the new dishes. The owners of the restaurant welcomed me in the traditional Mexican way and chatted with me warmly, introducing the restaurant and its staff. At Pancho’s I felt at home, just like what the owners said to us “Mi casa es tu casa (my home is your home)” The mouthwatering food really tempted my palate. I have learned that Mexican food uses a lot of peppers, potatoes and corn. Before I came, I thought I might not like the exotic flavors. But after tasting the food at Pancho’s, I feel that their food really suits the Chinese palate. I don’t know whether the chef has adapted it to the local taste or if it’s the original taste of Mexican food. After the meal, we also tried tequila, a very well-known alcohol in Mexico. The owners taught us the traditional way of drinking tequila first take a sip of lemon with salt, keep it in the mouth until you drink the tequila, then mix them together and swallow slowly. It tasted great. It is almost as strong as baijiu but not too strong. I think most ladies will fall in love with it.

3. Pancho’s, located in Shekou, is equipped with exotic decorations. Recently, a Mexican chef prepared a series of new dishes for foodies like us. They added some Chinese elements to the traditional Mexican food, making the flavor more accessible to Chinese preferences. Pancho’s Preferred Salad with cucumber was very fresh and ideal for people who enjoy spicy food. The Mexican pizza was crispy like cracker and very unique. The fish cooked in the cilantro sauce was very delicious and fresh. The taste was very rich and there were no bones in it. So kids can enjoy it as well. The beef with three types of peppers was very delicious and unforgettable. If you love Mexican food and are a real foodie willing to taste all kinds of food, Pancho’s cannot be missed!
