Ritz-Carlton's kids adventure program

The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen has rolled out an inspiring new campside adventure, as part of an enhanced Ritz Kids program.

Ritz Kids is the first globally consistent, immersive program from a hotel company to build on the adventures of travel for children. Designed to draw on a child's passion for the curious, the program has a tailored approach to creating memories for children visiting Shenzhen. The robustly layered activities foster learning centered around four key pillars — water, land, environmental responsibility and culture.

Children will discover their new home is more than a guestroom with personalized kids welcome and turndown amenities. The room has become an in-room campsite adventure complete with a tent, compass, lantern, flashlight, drinking bottle and cuddly lion. The new Star Gaze experience allows younger guests to look up at an amazing starry night view above their tents, as if they were outside, while enjoying a night time treat of milk and cookies.

From check-in, Ritz Kids discover a newly designed child-sized counter, a permanent feature in the hotel. Here, each child is provided with the Ritz Kids amenity kit, a lion backpack and a new all-access-restaurant bracelet pass. A "passport" book featuring a world of fun, privileges and games accompanies a map to explore the local hotel environment, earning stamps for gifts upon check-out.

Bath time for Ritz Kids is set to make a splash with newly created cartoon characters and toys adorning the bathtub alongside the child-sized amenities. They also receive child-sized bathrobes, slippers and safari-themed pajamas. Children under 4 are also given a rubber duck, mini totes and mini door hangars.

The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen has expertly curated educational activities aligned with at least one of the four Ritz Kids pillars. These include activities designed to nurture curiosity, bring to life local culture, nature and crafts such as flower arranging and cooking classes.

Ritz Kids has reimagined the guest experience through the eyes of a child between 4 and 12. It builds on the adventure they experience through travel and creates a journey of memories they will treasure for a lifetime.
