During the Spring Festival, Simon and his family from South Africa have stayed in Shenzhen to celebrate the holiday. He and his wife have not only created a strong Chinese New Year atmosphere at home with festive decorations, but also taken their children out to experience traditional customs and activities, so that they can better enjoy the Chinese New Year.


Taste flavor of the Chinese New Year in Shenzhen
Recently, Rita Gimenez from Spain and Louay Ali Dib from Syria went to the Shenzhen Longhua International Cooperation Center (LICC) to take part in the “Tasting Flavor of the Chinese New Year” event to experience various Chinese intangible cultural heritage activities such as paper cutting and lion dance and learn about wheat straw painting, a Shenzhen intangible cultural heritage item.
