Shenzhen's land-and-air intelligent transport test base was launched July 16 at the Shenzhen Intelligent Connected Traffic Test Demonstration Zone (also known as Bay Area Intelligent Connected Test Field) in Pingshan District.

The remote monitoring for law enforcement in Pingshan has progressed from overseeing overtime construction and excessive noise at construction sites to include dust control measures.

China Construction Steel Structure Co. Ltd., located in Pingshan District, was in charge of producing and building the FJ2 steel structure on the Western Artificial Island, a key project linking the above-sea bridge and the sea tunnel.

Kengzi Subdistrict and Longtian Subdistrict in Pingshan District have secured spots among the prestigious 2024 Top 500 Vibrant Subdistricts, as announced by the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) on June 26.

Pingshan-based Yaoshi Lithium Battery Technology Co. Ltd. has recently started the trial production of high-density solid-state lithium-ion batteries, marking an important step for the company in research, development and industrialization of new solid-state batteries.

The EWC International Competition Training Base, organized by the Peace Elite League (PEL), commenced operations June 19 at the Pingshan Innovation Center. The base offers advanced training to two PEL teams gearing up for the 2024 Esports World Cup (EWC), scheduled to take place from July 3 to Aug. 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
