THE nine-day Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show in Futian District unleashed Shenzhen residents’ buying power for new energy vehicles.
Expats donate blood in Huaqiangbei
A total of 36 expats participated in an Indian-led blood donation event at the Huaqiangbei blood donation center in Futian District on Sunday and 28 of them successfully donated 10,300 milliliters of blood and a dose of platelets.

Flower market welcomes CNY
Citizens visited the main venue of the 2022 Spring Festival flower market at One Avenue in Futian District to buy flowers and decorations for the coming of Chinese New Year, which fell on Feb. 1 this year. The venue was adorned with seven themed flower decorations and tiger-shaped installations to mark the Year of the Tiger.

Blue-throated bee-eaters in town
A couple of blue-throated bee-eaters (Merops viridis), which dubbed “the most beautiful bird in China,” have been spotted around the Huanggang Park and Futian Mangrove Ecological Park areas in Futian District since Sept. 22.
Luohu park opens new leisure space
A new leisure space at Honghu Park in Luohu District officially opened to the public yesterday.
Migratory birds back in town
In recent days, numerous migratory birds can be seen over the tidal flats in Futian Mangrove Nature Reserve and Shenzhen Bay.
