Locals will have a rare opportunity to watch 20 award-winning Filipino short films at Broadway Cinematheque Shenzhen in Nanshan District to have a glimpse into the Asian country’s history, culture, ethnicity and geography.
Video artworks created by six international artists are on display at the InJoy shopping mall in Futian District.
“A Dream of Red Mansions,” one of the four great Chinese classical novels, written by Cao Xueqin during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), has been adapted into various art forms. Now, a dance drama of the same title and produced by the Jiangsu Center for the Performing Arts will be staged in Shenzhen next month.
There are two exhibitions at Great Art Space in Futian District.
The Chinese web drama “The Bad Kids,” which was listed among the top 15 best international series by U.S. entertainment magazine Variety in 2020, has been adapted into a Chinese-language musical to be staged in Shenzhen next month.
Mural replicas, rubbings, architecture models and colored glaze items are on display at “The Glory Within Authenticity” exhibition at the Luohu Art Museum, showing the cultural and artistic charm of Yongle Palace which was built in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) in Shanxi Province.
