Located in the business district of Luohu, the restaurant covers over 1,000 square meters, Siam Thai Cuisine is the first restaurant in Shenzhen to attain Thailand’s Thai Select cuisine recognition. Designed by a Taiwanese interior designer, the spacious Siam restaurant combines modern and traditional Chinese styles and creates an exquisite dining environment. It consists of a lobby area, bar and lounge, a main dining hall with semi-private cubicals, and several private dining rooms each allowing for 10 to 20 diners.
Having received numerous cookery awards in Thailand, head chef Son Chai has 20 years’ experience in kitchens in Thailand and Taipei. He creates authentic Thai dishes while continuing to create new recipes.
“My passion for Thai cuisine remains unchanged after more than 10 years of solid practice,” said David Huang, general manger of Siam.
“The more I am involved with this business, the more I get excited about it, as it allows me to explore the most fascinating part of Thai cuisine, especially when traditional cooking methods meet modern dining concepts. Shenzhen is a melting pot of cultures, and we are more than honored to present a new concept in Thai cuisine here.”

About Thai Select
Thai Select recognition is a certificate given by the Royal Thai Government to Thai restaurants that meet specific quality standards. The Thai Select scheme helps diners select the best Thai eateries. Each restaurant must be inspected and approved by the Thai Trade Center or the Office of Commercial Affairs of that particular region. (Li Dan)
